Product Description

Torque control system of hydraulic power tongs (abbr. TPC) is the most advanced system for torque setting, display and recording, in which the touch screen computer replaces the laptop computer. It is used to measure, display and record the torque during makeup to ensure the optimal makeup torque of tubing connector and save the line and chart data generated during the makeup of every connector into the disc for future query.

 

Torque control system is in corollary use with hydraulic power Tongs. It may monitor the makeup torque of tube joints in real-time and ensure controlling makeup torque of tube joint in a range recommended in API Standard. It may avoid thread gluing and tongs teeth damaging any tube because of over torque when tightening any tube joint so as to meet strict standards and requirements for tube down-hole
