Model XQ89/3I Hydraulic Power Tong is the most common tong for well service which is used to make up and break out 60(23 /8″), 73 (27 /8″), 89 (31 /2″) mm tubings. This tong adopts the advanced steering brake mechanism and oil pipe clamping mechanism, It is of the simple
structure, reliable function, long life service, good performance, low noise features etc and is an ideal equipment in well service.
1. The complete set of the power tong consists of the main tong and backup tong. To operate the manual overflow valve of the main tongs, the backup tongs will be work synchronously with the main tongs, and work flexibly.
2. Both the head of the main tong and the head of the backup tong adopt two-way clamping mechanism of the internal curved surface roller grade climbing to clamp the oil pipes. It's structure is simple but reliable.
3. The steering control mechanism is set on the top of the main tong head and is convenient for adjustment and maintenance.
4. The main tong has automatic on-off safe door.
5. The overflow valve is set in the manual reversing valve, it can be used efficiently to control the pressure when making up the pipe, and it can also help hydraulic system regulate pressure and protect the power tong when overloaded.
- Operate the manual reversing valve on the main tong, and the main tong and backup tong work synchronously.
- Special bidirectional sequence control device for tubing tong shall be equipped as required to realize that the backup tong clamps the tubing before the main tong, so as to make the loading and unloading of tubing safer and more reliable.
- The inner curved roller climbing two-way clamping mechanism is used to clamp the oil pipe, which has simple structure and reliable operation.
- The main tong is equipped with an automatic opening and closing safety door for safety protection.
